Women strange walking gait
#1
I used "adult black female 004" for an animated walking part, but her gait is weird. I think her shoulders rotate properly relative to her stride, but both hands remain in front. At rest she shows a normal form with the trailing arm swung behind, but the animated frames are not the same.

I then did a test with her and another woman compared to a man. Both women were strange in the same way:

example 1
example 2

I guess not all the actors use the same animation templates. How many variations are there? Are they assignable somehow, so I could take the gait from one actor and use it in another?

Can the women's gait just be improved?

If you look in the folder FrameForge Previz Studio Support/Object Library/(walks), you will see that there are 8 walking animations, for 4 speeds and 2 genders. The Shot Manager has a way to override the selection by speed, but not by gender. I suppose you could try replacing the female walk animations with copies of the male ones, but I don't know how well that would work. I'll bring this to the boss's attention.
