Everyone's pitching Kalshi clone scripts as the fast track to launching a prediction market. But here's what they don't tell you: Kalshi spent 3 years and $30M+ on CFTC approval alone. A clone script doesn't clone that. Where it does make sense: internal forecasting tools, play-money platforms, or geo restricted markets outside the US.
Has anyone here actually launched on a Kalshi clone script? What was the regulatory reality?
