I need a deep hole to hold somebody captive in and they can look up to see their captor.

The ends of most of the tubes (in building blocks) are removable. You should be able to assemble something from them...

Doing just what the guys at FF said, here is a tube with a rock texture applied. You can size to suit. right now it's 8'x10'x9'
