I'd like some 2x4's and some plywood sheets, so that you could construct simple buildings to meet script demands.

It's quite easy to resize the texturable cube to create these -- I'm attaching two user objects created just like that. One is a 6' long 2x4 (actually 1.5 x 3.5 as per our twisted reality) and a 4 x 6 sheet of plywood.
