I need a 3D Boeing B-17G 'Flying Fortress' WWII Bomber... - ChuckGramling - 01-26-2007 Including interiors if at all possible, but primarily an exterior. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - Chuck OH! & A Luftwaffe ME-BF109 & North American P51 Must - ChuckGramling - 01-26-2007 It won't do me any good without these others. Thanks. - Jay Hoover - 01-26-2007 You can't edit this one but it may work in a pinch, Unzip into a library subfolder. - ChuckGramling - 01-27-2007 THANKS Jay, I'll give it a try. Storyboardings goingto be easy compared to shooting this short film (Which I actually have the potential for the use of a reeal B17G} - ChuckGramling - 01-27-2007 Oh darnit, the B-17 didn't work/wouldn't open in the program. It tellsmeIdon't have the needed permissions to use it. - jamesw - 01-27-2007 ChuckGramling Wrote:Oh darnit, the B-17 didn't work/wouldn't open in the program. You did unzip it, and then put the .3dxf and .bmp files into you object library, right? - ChuckGramling - 01-28-2007 OK, I got it working. Thank you. But,now I'm curious as to locating a better detailed 3D model, though this will definantly work for the immediate purposes. Thanks. I'mnew at Frame Forge,so please forgive my SNAFU. - Z-Boy - 01-28-2007 hey Chuck, are you doing a full WWII storyboard project? Z - ChuckGramling - 02-01-2007 X-Boy. Normally, I storyboard FX shots anyway, but 70% of this 30 minute short is going to have live action that is augmented by CGI or where the entire shot will be CGI. This is the 1st time I'm ever using FrameForge, so... It is what it is. I hope to story board EVERY shot, including the full motion cranes & dollies that I paln to do (I'm anticipating using an 18 ft jib arm with undersling remote head sitting in up to 100 ft of dolly track). - deger - 07-31-2007 I shot a film in a real b17 a few years back if you have any questions - ChuckGramling - 07-31-2007 Hey deger, where & what B-17 did you use? I may have full use of the "Nine-O-Nine" of the Collings foundation out of Boston when they do their winter maintenance cycle. Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. What kind of film was it? Any opportunity for me to see it? Or was it just a documentary or straight video? - deger - 07-31-2007 I'll Pm you more info.. and my contact |
