Sunlight not showing up in master view - simon_p_m - 02-17-2019

Hi, all.

I'm new to the software, so this might be an easy question. Hope so...

If I set the color of the sun to be a nice sunset orange, the light out of the window of my set changes to orange in every camera view. But characters and props inside my set only get illuminated by orange light in the small camera view windows at the top of the screen (i.e. red/blue camera views). The orange light does not illuminate anything inside the set in the main camera view (the big window, in which I can manipulate characters). And if I choose "Store Shot" from one of the small preview windows (where I can see the orange sunset light working properly), it still doesn't come out in the snapped image. The light is fine outside, but not on anything inside. See the included screenshot

I'm using the Core version, not Pro, if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Simon.

Hi Simon , I asume your inside-Set does have a ceiling. Maybe the light color of the sun will flood the room without the ceiling?
