Hands...

So I figured out how to plop a custom-created head on a figure, and I want to do the same with their hands (I want the fingers to be long and spindly).

So my question is, are the hands somehow locked to the body "skins"? Because I found a folder called unisex hands and legs under textures/actors/extras. I can manipulate the hand "skins" and create the needed jpg file, but I can find no way to apply them to my character like I could the faces (or head in this case).

If it can't be done, can I have the created hands mad into a gloves decal? I seem to have gloves in the World Clothing Expansion but I cannot figure out how to apply them. Are they decals?

Some of the World Clothing actors have gloved hands as separate parts to which one can apply textures. But in the generic actors, the hands are just part of the body. So in that case, if you wanted to create a gloved appearance, you'd have to apply a decal to the "body" part in the Green Room.
