Bread in Toaster
#1
Four relationships for Harborth's slice of bread, found here:-

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.frameforge3d.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1760">http://www.frameforge3d.com/community/v ... php?t=1760</a><!-- m -->

and the toaster, found here:-

The automatic relationships are,

Bread in Toaster (Left slot)
Bread in Toaster (Right Slot)

You can then select the manual relationships of,

Toasting (left Slot)
Toasting (Right Slot)

When I drag the toast to the toaster I get the choices, but no matter which option I pick the bread sticks itself to the top of the toaster (close to the chosen slot, but still just on top). Is this happening to anybody else?

Yep, I have a problem too. The relationships are made available but nothing happens when I select one to use. Not sure why this is happening now, as I tested these before I posted them. Maybe somthing to do with the V25 update?

Anyway, I've made new relationships and re-posted them above, I hope this solves the problem.

Ah, thank you! Now I can make toasted turkey club sandwiches after Thanksgiving, take a few bites, and fall asleep. Turkey, better than warm milk for a nap. Say, do you have fun playing with the "texturable cube slider" in the greenroom for the toaster? I do. It appears to do nothing, but (like all of Harborth's works) it does it very very well. Perfect toy to fiddle with while eating the turkey club & waiting to fall asleep. I like to think that someplace out there in the world there's a real toaster going "Light...Dark...Light...Dark...Light..."

Absolutely bizarre, this object also previously worked well! Well you know these things don't last long past their guarantee. Anyway I've amended the toaster and re-posted (new 12 month warranty starts today). I hope this didn't spoil your club sandwich, speaking of which, go to go...

Of course this new toaster doesn't work with the previously amended relationships, so another set defined and posted above.

Aw, what the heck. I'll be a complaining customer. "Sir, shouldn't the two toasting relationships also cause the lever to go down and the toast to turn brown?"

Well, in my case, to start smoking because the danged thing is stuck down again and I can't find the fork...

Yes - but you know I'm now so sick of the sight of toast that I never want to see another piece again... at least until tomorrow morning.

Actually I took advantage of the new V25 functionality to set up a 'User Defined Toasting Facility'. The lever has actually no relevance whatsoever to the heating elements and is there merely to play with whilst you wait for the bread to brown. Like you said:-

Anyway, for those without 'UDTF' functionality, two further relationships posted above for your toaster collection.

Ah, so I'll still need to keep a fork handy on the set...

Thanks for the updates. Time to take my nap.
