Can you send me the object, please? You can send to support at FrameForge dot com.
Removing the object from your inventory is the fastest route to restoring your functionality. Locate it inside your object library and move it somewhere else outside of the Object Library and then restart FrameForge. You will get a "can't locate object X" message but you can just hit the skip button and then save the file without the object. This should allow you to get back to work at least while I experiment with this hair model you mentioned to see if I can make it work.
