What is your OS - MAC or Windows? And your FrameForge Version? Have you updated to the latest version? In the last weeks the developers fixed a lot of bugs.
I have tried your issues (Arrows, white background) on my Windows systems but there everthing goes well.
Not least sending a message to support@frameforge.com might be a good idea.
