Is a Kalshi Clone Script actually worth building on?
#1
Honestly, this is something a lot of startups overthink or worse, underthink.

From what I've seen, the companies that get it right focus on a few simple things: Does the team actually understand prediction markets, not just general development? Can they show real work they've done before? And will they still pick up the phone six months after launch?
The technical stuff matters, sure  security, scalability, smart contract experience. But the real differentiator is finding a team that understands your business goals, not just your feature list.
What criteria did you use when choosing your development partner? Would love to hear what worked and what didn't.

Everyone's pitching Kalshi clone scripts as the fast track to launching a prediction market. But here's what they don't tell you: Kalshi spent 3 years and $30M+ on CFTC approval alone. A clone script doesn't clone that. Where it does make sense: internal forecasting tools, play-money platforms, or geo restricted markets outside the US.

Has anyone here actually launched on a Kalshi clone script? What was the regulatory reality?
