Male Actor with long hair
#1
This started as an experiment that, so far, has paid off. Time, and use, will tell if there are any program complications with the objects combined to make this, but so far so good. He should have all the functionality of Multi Man (without being able to change the hairstyle, obviously). Enjoy.

First, always run Web Grab to make sure you are working with the most recent version of FF. Second, go to the "Free Objects Forum" and CAREFULLY follow the instructions for downloading and installing the Body Parts. I believe that should take care of the problem.

Unfortunately, it still don't work !
Now the message is "Failed to load object in set. Error:102".

I'm a Windows XP user.

have you an idea about the problem?

I peeked inside this user object, and it is based on an object in the Actors folder called "a_multi-man-1". I don't know how that "-1" got there, but that's probably the problem.

The eyes seemed to be linked to the hair. If you rotate his eyes the hair turns with it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Simply UNGLUE the hair, move the eyes and REGLUE. The problem is that the (invisible) female head that is supplying the hair is embedded in the man's head and so it is glued to the "deepest" point of intersection, which turns out to be the eyeballs.

The character worked fine in the demo but for some reason he doesn’t want to work in the full version.
I tried grabbing updates and even downloading the file again, but it just gives me "Failed to load object in set. Error:102".

Can someone please let me know how to fix this?
I really need this character.

Thanks,

You probably don't have the base actor and/or the body parts installed. Make sure you have downloaded and installed them both from the Free Objects from Innoventive Software Forum.

I'm using FF3D Vers. 1.4.3

I downloaded and unzipped your wonderful creation of a long haired multi man into my Actors folder, when I run FrameForge he shows up in the actor's folder on the right, but when I try and place him into a set, I get the following message:

This object state collection was defined with the following glued parts: "Bodyparts\Caucasion woman's head" and they are not located in the specific subdirectory.

Please instarll these objects or recreate this object state collection without the missing objects in order to not get this error message every time you apply it.

I also redownloded it as an "All Files" type, into my Library\Actors folder, but when I reopened and ran FrameForge, and tried to drag him into my set, I get the same Error Message.

So what do I have to do in order to be able to use the "long hair multi man" in my sets?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Read the message right above yours. You are missing the body parts, which you need to download from the Free Objects from Innoventive area of the forum.

I downloaded all the available body parts and base actors, incl all the "multi-man" actors, and all the latest women actors, and I still get the same Error message, and I can't use the "Long Hair Multi-Man" actor in the sets. He's in the Actor's Option List, but when I try and drag him into the set, I get that error message.

Also the name of the file when downloading reads like this: long_haired_multi_man_170.uzp I downloaded it using that name, and it didnt' work, so I removed the _170 part to get "long_haired_multi_man.uzp" and downloaded that, and it still didn't work.

Sorry for being such a pest, but I could really use that character.

Thanks.
