snake

I need a snake able to coil up, to move the head and stick out the tongue.
If there is no snake available, tell me what is the program I could use to create it.

This isn't currently a snake available though we because it's fairly simple, we could build a rigged snake. How long/big does it need to be? Any particular species? Can you give us reference photos?

As to a program you can make this in, if it needs to be posable, it is not a simple task for someone who's never done it before but we recommend Maya or 3DS Max and export it as rigged or skinned FBX for import via our FBX Importer.

Thank you very much, I accept to buy it leaving the rights to you. Let me know how to do.

The snake schould be about 150 cm long, I think
For me its appearance is not so important, as I am not trying to be completely realistic, but I could suggest to have a basic snakeskin with geometric design and if somebody wants he can alway put on it a different decal or make it darker etc.
You could also, for a larger use, make possible in Green Room to flatten its neck like the najas or cobras have the ability.
(a lot of those snakes are in Africa as well as in India)
I will use my snake with a 5-6 years old boy - about 115-120 cm tall.
Here are some photos.

The Snake is ready!

It is posable, can open/close its eyes and mouth, look sad, angry and smile stick its tongue out and is capable at "looking at" things and matching eyelines.

It comes in a long and short version, both versions can have the cobra neck spread plus the long version has a thick body option.

It comes with a variety of scale patterns, the ones shown below and some additional color/tonal variations on them. Because this was a custom modeling job, we are not currently releasing it as part of the program but it can be purchased by going to the bottom of the Accessories Purchase Page and paying a $50 Custom Modeling fee. Then email sales@frameforge3d.com and explain what it is you have purchased and they'll get you download instructions, though since it takes a human to process it only happens during business hours Monday through Friday.

Could I also purchase the snakes, or were they designed specifically for one client? Would the snakes sell for the $50 fee or are the more? Do you plan to package the snakes with an Expansion Pack? If so, perhaps I should wait.

Yes, you can buy them for $50 -- just go here and scroll down to the very bottom and you'll see an item labeled Custom Modeling or Custom Work ($25). Carefully read the instructions on it as you need to add it to your cart once and then change the quantity during checkout.

And while I expect they will eventually will be released with some expansion pack, we're kind of holding onto them until we have enough animals or other elements to make a coherent pack.

Is there any possibility you could make some birds with moveable wings, head and beaks. I'm using birds from Sketch-up right now- and boy do they suck>

Lemme know what you come up with.
