Need restaurant set
#1
Hey all,

I was wondering if anybody had a restaurant set they could post, preferably a fancy restaurant. I'm a film student making a music video, I plan on posting all the sets I create for this and I think we all need to help eachother out more. Thanks

Here's a restaurant I designed.

I placed the set within the City Panorama so you can see street life outside the windows. Also, there's a metal wall outside the rear wall of the restaurant that ostensibly leads to the kitchens.

Feel free to use it, modify it, etc.

Ok I downloaded it but when I try to load it up, it says I'm missing all these things and I only get the floor. What can I do?

Are you trying it in the demo? If so, then yes, you don't have all the objects that it uses.

No I have the full version 1. It lists a series of objects that I don't have.

Ah, this set was probably built with Version II objects. You should upgrade.

Object "Panorama\City Street" is not in your current object library and it is required to correctly display this file!

Texture "brown3.jpg" is not your current texture library and it is required to correctly display this file!

Those are the two files which fail to load because they are custom user files specific to this set and were absent in the downloads.

The set imports but minus the missing two files.

Wonder if you could post the two files, Jay, so others can download them and then they can use the full potential of the set?

Would be grateful, man..

Thanks in advance..

City Panorama is 2x the maximum limit for posting attachments. Didn't you install the panoramas when you installed FF3D2?

Can you get it via webgrab?

If negative to the above options, PM me an email addy that can take a 2meg file and I'll send it to you. Here's "brown" however.

I mustn't have installed some files upon installation so I did what you suggested and ran WebGrab and updated all the files necessary and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help, Jay. I appreciate it.

Fantastic set by the way, excellent work.. Thanks for the set too..

Thanks again..

Jay,
I was looking around for a cafe set and had a look at your restaurant. It is gorgeous. Not what I was looking for, but gorgeous. I actually need a latter-day hippie-new-age style coffee shop, called... " 'The Druid Circle', an excruciatingly organic coffee shop." Small, intimate, and funky. If you should happen to have that in your bag, I'm interested. If not, then Good On Ya, Mate. I need the practice anyway.
